Wintersportarena Holzelfingen

Sledging, Ski and more close to Stuttgart - a day in the snow.

Looking for a nice day-trip? First sledging with the little ones or even their first attempts on skis?

In Holzelfingen in the Swabian Alb, the Wintersport Arena offers the perfect opportunity for families to spend a day in the snow. Just 45 minutes by car from Stuttgart, you'll find a winter sports arena with a wide range of options.

What is on offer?

Slopes for skiing & sledging

There is a toboggan run, two very good cosy places to stop for refreshments and a total of four ski lifts.
You can whizz down into the valley on many slopes that are easy to ski for children and parents. Suitable for those who can already ski as well as for beginners. The trails are very wide and varied.

Adventure Land

There is also an adventure land with a children's lift, seesaws, an adventure tunnel and an igloo. There is even a ski carousel and a piste bully to play on. It is here that the little ones can make their first attempts on skis. The railing is easily accessible from the car park, so you don't have to walk far with the kids. There is even a ski school and a mascot that regularly visits the children.

Toboggan Park

You can toboggan in the separate toboggan park. However, this is more suitable for children over the age of 4. Right next to Fridolin's Adventure Land, however, there are enough great opportunities on wide slopes.

Refreshments & Food

And if you get hungry after so much fun in the snow, there are huts where you can eat well. There is even a baby changing room.

Cross country skiing & Walks

The winter sports arena also has a cross-country ski trail and many walking paths that are suitable for prams.

We only discovered this little winter paradise by chance this year and will certainly visit it more often.
It is simply ideal for a winter day with the whole family.
